What the calculators do with your data
Nothing leaves your device. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The measurements, zone, crop and prices you enter are never transmitted to this site or anyone else, and there is no server that could receive them. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet after the page loads — the calculators keep working.
The grow plan feature stores what you add to it in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload. That data stays on your device, is never uploaded, and is cleared when you clear the list or your browser's site data.
One calculator makes an outbound request: the grow plan fetches currency exchange rates from a public rates API so it can convert prices. That request contains no information about you or what you have entered — only a request for the current rate table, which is then cached in your browser for twelve hours.
What is collected
No account, no sign-up, no newsletter and no contact form. The site does not ask for your name, email address or location, and there is no analytics script tracking you across pages.
Standard server logs are kept by the hosting provider, as they are for any website. These contain IP address, browser type and the page requested, are used for security and diagnosing faults, and are not linked to anything you enter into a calculator.
Advertising
This site is funded by advertising and displays ads supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve those ads and to measure them.
Google may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes it less relevant.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, a consent notice appears before any advertising cookie is set, and you can decline. Declining leaves the calculators fully working — they do not depend on advertising in any way. You can change that choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the notice back.
Cookies used
Two categories. Your consent choice is stored locally so the notice does not reappear on every page. Advertising cookies are set by Google only after consent where consent is required. There are no analytics or social media cookies on this site.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure and objection regarding personal data held about you. Because this site holds no personal data beyond hosting logs, there is in practice very little to access or erase — but if you want to ask, the contact address is below. For advertising data held by Google, those requests go to Google, whose privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. The site will not start collecting personal data without that change being made here first.
